Mr. Tippett has been training the last nine years under Tae Kwon Do’s legendary Grandmaster Hee IL Cho. “My respect, dedication and loyalties to Grandmaster Cho are of the highest distinction. He has helped me become the instructor and martial artist that I am today and I thank God for having the honor and opportunity to be called his student.”

Mr. Tippett founded Arrowhead Martial Arts Academy, March 8, 1995. He is a gifted instructor and enjoys influencing the minds of his students in the areas of respect, teamwork, perseverance, self-discipline, leadership and knowledge. So much so, that he implemented an innovative character development program that is designed to change the behavior of his students outside the classroom.  “Along the way students learn life-lessons about goal setting, wisdom, journaling, mentoring and the awesome power of taking action on ideas,” says Mr. Tippett.

Mr. Tippett is married to Mrs. Lisa Tippett, a 2nd Degree Black Belt; they have six children. Mr. and Mrs. Tippett are dedicated to teaching the art of Tae Kwon Do in a positive environment that teaches self-defense not only against an attacker, but more importantly, against mediocrity, low self-esteem and negative input.

Mr. Tippett recently coached 12 competitors at the World Championships in Dublin, Ireland. Each student medaled and the total medals achieved were 26--a huge accomplishment! “I’m extremely proud of the hard work and dedication my students put in for this competition. It really paid off. Perseverance and Indomitable Spirit played a consistent role in shaping these winners,” says Mr. Tippett.
